Hello, I’m Maggie and thanks for popping in!

So you’ve decided to get married. Where do you start? Have you found the dress, decided on the cake, where is your ceremony and where do you want to celebrate afterwards? …. So many questions and decisions to make however don’t forget about the Ceremony, and don’t forget about the person who’s going to make it legal for you?………. That’s where I come in.

My name is Maggie Costello. I have been a registered Marriage Celebrant, approved by the Attorney Generals’ Department since October 2004. I have engaged in hundreds of civil celebrant ceremonies in that time. I love to help couples like yourselves, plan and design a unique ceremony which reflects you both. As long or as short as you like! As formal or informal as you like! As traditional or as unconventional as you like! But, it will always be professionally presented, either as a Marriage Ceremony or a Commitment Ceremony. Whatever best suits your unique needs, it’s your special day.

What Makes a Great Wedding Ceremony?

For me it’s when both you the couple and your guests are emotionally moved. When you feel really connected to what is being said and are personally touched by the magic moments.

My desire for you is to get people connected with their hearts. Mostly this happens through the words conveyed. It is my job to really understand as much as possible about you, the happy couple getting married, your relationship and what it is that you truly love about each other.

Being a Celebrant is more than just about the legalities of the day, it’s about having an understanding of you the couple, who you are, and what is important to you and making it a day you will remember filled with love and laughter.

Your Wedding Day …..

Your wedding day should be fun, relaxing and one you will remember. You don’t have to stick to the norm. If you want small and intimate, then that’s fine. If you wish for a big celebration event with bells and whistles, then that’s fine. Bottom line is, it’s what you want! Park, garden, backyard, beach or church is doesn’t matter. What truly counts is the bringing together of family and the union of two people.

Marriage is an important decision, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Stop, think, listen and discuss. But just because this is a serious commitment, doesn’t mean that you need to be all serious on your special day. It’s ok to laugh during the ceremony, to include a tad of humour and to make it reflect whatever you desire it to be! I am only too happy to assist you and help make it happen! Remember – I’m just there to make it legal!
